Hands-on Web Hosting specializes in cPanel web hosting and X-Cart Shopping Cart software. We have been in business under the Hands-on name since 2000, however Conor, the owner, has been involved in web design and hosting since 1994.
We started in the web design world in 1994 and provided hosting to customers who had web designs done though our company (handsonwebdesign.com). Due to the lack of support and service that we received from other hosting companies, we were thrust into the web hosting world and by 1996 we opened our doors to friends and family of those that had web design projects done through us. By 2000 we were doing so much web hosting that we opened the doors to the public and slowly ended our web design company.
The future for Hands-on continues to be very optimistic. We are constantly adding new features and servers to our network lineup and new staff to go along with the increasing client/customer base. We plan to be here for many more years to come, and with a business model that revolves almost exclusively around word of mouth advertising, it’s our customers that help keep us in business!
X-Cart Gold Software is one of the shopping cart softwares that we have had a great experience with, and currently host more than 1500 X-Cart ecommerce stores on our machines. We anxiously await the new X-Cart product launch due in the 4th quarter of 2009!
